This site if quite protected from northern winds, when elsewhere is not flyable, here it often is. But with big caution! And better ask the local pilots to be sure.

Huge field, space for thousands of gliders. Takeoff everywhere. Not very steep though, not suitable for HG or low efficiency old wings. There is currently no windsock, but the landing is always towards the south (unless its a very early morning or very late evening flight where the wind direction can turn from noth) Takeoff easily reachable by car on good asphalted road. No shuttle service.

Do not fly with foen winds! Extremly turbuent and dangerous.
