Absolutely Amazing flying. Ask a Pro for advice. Close to an airfield, regulated flying for landing approach. Please read the posted guidelines on the notice board. If you are experienced enough, in the afternoon, when the breeze eases off a little, you can cross to the other side of the valley, soaring 'the road' all the way up and then plenty of possibilities to make it far enough into the valley against the wind. Take care, serious turbulence is possible.
Drive to the ski sation, outside the times that the ski lift doesn't run. Otherwise, take the lift, take off is immediately on the left on the slope next to the derelict church. Steep, but easy. Southwind is dangerous. Lots of turbulence. Strong valley wind in the afternoon. Fly Lac d'Oo instead and come back evening for a nice valley wind soar.
