Avoid cattle when landing. From Portland, Highway 6 to Tillamook, right on Wilson River Loop, right onto Sollie Smith Rd N. Marine air can condense rapidly in front of launch creating white-out conditions. Strong thermals possible during summer, prevailing northerly summer winds may be thermal blocked up launch slope but create rotor turbulence aloft.
